Used to swear by Falken FK452's until my local garage stopped dealing with them and became a Toyo dealer. Got 4 Toyo Proxes Sports on the R32 and cant complain so far however they are supposed to wear quickly but thats a compromise for better grip surely
Haven't tried uniroyals, vredisteins or yoko's
What sort of money is michelins at compared to the midrange brands and are they worth the extra? Pirelli aswell?

I don't know what the Sports are like but I had Proxes 4 on the front of my car when I bought it (they were only 2 weeks old as well) - the grip was never there and the insides wore out in 4 months. The tracking was fine but there is some camber from being lowered. Stuck some S Drives on and they lasted 2 years with far more grip in all conditions.

Afaik their the same as the T1R's just a slightly different tread pattern.
My mate had T1R's wear out on the inside too but im sure this was down to alignment

Got Falken ZE912 on at the moment. Seem to be holding up fine on the road, driving normally and to the conditions. Don't seem to have worn much either in the 3 months ive had them.

The abarth was on its 3rd set of p6000s at 27k, didnt last as long as I hoped and ir wasnt really driven hard, mainly traffic jam style commuting

Wonder how many of you pay attention to the new wet grip and fuel economy rating on tyres these days? Although I don't believe some of the stuff rates as a b in the wet.

Bridgestone re050's, had them on the zed + leon and cant really fault them tbh, grip enough for how i treat and seem to last quite a while.
Had uniroyals rainsport 2's once and never again as they lasted a few thousand miles at most.
Kumho ku39's iirc had those for a while and they seemed to be quite nice a little less grippy than the bridgestones though.

i voted uniroyal, uniroyal rainsport 1's as iv never tried the 2's
however khumo ku31's are pretty good too
wouldn't waste my money on toyo proxies t1r's personally
