some sort of carbon container thing, i just chucked mine away. uneeded.
they are the reason astra G sidelights never sit rite on corsa's on the drivers side

So I'f one goes to the petrol tank and one goes to the inlet, do I not need to blank the pipes off? :/

Its used with standard engines 1.2's etc as mine was 1.2 16v and it connected to inlet but now xe so not needed

charcoal canister stops petrol fumes getting in to the environment

Older cars used to vent petrol tanks in the atmsphere,but as with everything these days is made safer.
So that canister holds the fumes untill the ecu desides it,s the right time to vent in to the inlet manifold to be burnt.

Oh funcy!! So does that mean the exhaust emissions will be different?
