A friend of mine has been building this for some time now, it is now fully installed and running, a proper modified car, showing anything is possible, a true sleeper

Theres loads of V8s out there, decent ones which spring to mind are the LS1, then engine out of the RS4, Mclaren engine,etc (they may cost a little more though )

Nothing wrong with a good old Rover unit.
Yeah, it may be underpowered, but it'll be nice lazy torque with a good soundtrack.
Plus, I image the mechanical simplicity of those older units make them ideal for these sorts of conversion.

i dont see anything special about it at all, just an old motor with a old engine in. that wont be fast

Nothing special about a redtop in a Corsa either, old hat, everyone's had one or knows someone who has., but it's what you do to make it individual. It's different, a lot of work has been put into it to make it a nice car, that's what counts, is speed everything?
