You need to declare your income from your litter to HMRC

no actually, they dont, after taking into account the extra food for the mother, the food for the pups, the visits to the vets the extra cost of electricity from using a heat mat an heat lamp, the extra washing of bedding for the pups to lay on, an then factor in the many sleepless nights, i sleep on the sofa for a week before the pups are due incase she has them early an i spent 4 weeks after the pups are born on the sofa at the side of them incase she lays on one. and then if any need to be bottle fed, you have that cost as well and feeding them every 2 hours, which i have had to do with 2 pups out of different litters before.
i could make more by selling my car, but it isnt about making money, its about breeding show and work quality dogs, and any money that is left over will be put away
so the next time you sell something on ebay or the likes, will you report that?

Nice one!! O`and well said, some people think it's all about the money, just cos a small hand full of puppy farmers make something at it!
I bread Bull Dogs, and and at the end of 10 weeks when they go, it works out at £2.00 an hour per pup!!
and that goes back in to keep the rest.
