Hey guys and girls, you have all probably seen the thread lower down about the £30 tyres + pnp.

They are only doing size 195-50-15 now my ford focus mk1 x reg needs two back tyres
However the tyres are 195-60-15, I am wondering is it ok to change all 4 to the lower profile size?
I know not to just change two rear and have different profile on the front.

As far as am aware it will effect my speedo accuracy does anyone know how far? And am is it safe to change my profile size?

Sorry if it's a basic question thanks

Be fine, the speedo difference won't even be noticeable tbh.

Although you could probably get tyres in 195/60/15 cheaper elsewhere than 195/50's will be.

Is there actually a problem with running 2 different profiles on a car? As my front wheels are only 6j and id like 165/45/16s on them however my rears are 8j and would preferably have 195/40/16's on there? Is there any legalities to it? Does it affect anything? Cheers

No Christopher, you can run different sizes front to back, but not on same axle
