Trace doesn't look very smooth though, what's with the staircase on the leftmost ascent?

Ian - aye it isnt that smooth (the plot). That was nothing physical with the car other than the plots being slightly stretched/skewed to fit.

The plot is set with POSITION along the bottom. The blue trace is from a low 55sec lap, the red from a 62 to it will have been altered a bit. I'll see what they say about No Sats etc, and have a look based on 'time v speed'

There are a few options for the GTR (RB26 series)..... in order of perceived ability and actual cost.

Hollinger - about £22k + all the gubbins
MacTrak - about £20k i think
OS Giken - £10-12k, + larger input shaft +subframe
Quaiffe - £8k

All in depends on labour rates and what not

Movement of the gearstick on the downshift seems rather long, but maybe that's personal preference. But sequential boxes are .

its a long lever, so the short throw of the standard lever is now longer (by simple extension)

Some of it will be cut down with the Geartronics strain gauge is fitted
