ride comfort is about the same as standard. it was quite firm as standard but also more bouncy over bumps, whereas the fk springs were harder.

i use mine daily and have no problems, and the drop was actually bang on what they claimed, which is not always the case with some springs.

Can you not get an exhaust place to change the tips if you didn't like them when you have fitted it? For the price I'd give it a go
