Right I'll get straight to the point,
I've got an x16xe engine and recently fitted a manzlet style inlet manifold onto it and since doing so I am unable to get the car to run with the MAP sensor connected.
It's a brand new vauxhall sensor
I've checked all the vac hoses etc
It will run perfectly if I disconnect the plug from the sensor, but this brings the EML on.
Has anyone else had this sort of problem?
And also is there a way to disconnect the plug and bypass the sensor, for example with a piece of wire or a resistor so it runs okay but doesn't bring the EML on cause its not connected?
Any help is much appreciated,
Harley

I've tried that now, doesn't work.
It puts the light out but then I get the same symptoms as before
