was wondering how much work it is to replace sills as some 1 has patched mine with a big plate before i brought the car and if theres in any1 in birmingham that does replacement work on sills quote please

Be alot of money as youll have to jig the car if you want it done properly. because to cut the sills out is a fare job id say and thats main structure of car! If the plate looks strong enough it might be okay, but if you want it done properly it will cost a couple thousand just for a jog alone and depends how long you leave it on the jig to do the replacment. if i were you id get the plate checked over and if its sound then dont worry, but if not id just get a new shell

Won't need jigging for a cill replacement.... You would be looking at a couple of hundred quid plus paintwork

the car wont need jigging for a outer sill replacement im in 2 mind weather to have it done as i imagine the gsi sideskirts will cover the patched up part of the sill anyway

best to get it done pal, otherwise the ineer sill/floor will rot out and one day you will be sitting on the tarmac while driving!

its not that bad its only the outer sill the inner sill seems fine except by where the rear quater meets it underneath it has started corroding
