Reclaiming wiped data from SSD's is supposed to be close to imposible.
And unless you have NORAD launch codes stored on it, I doubt any one would go through the trouble of trying to restore it.

lee, why not buy another 128gb and setup a raid0?
Not only will you have your desired capacity, but it'll be even quicker.

I've had two SSDs in a raid0 for the last ~8 years (first with samsungs then with Crucials)

id prefer to keep my superdrive in and stick to one drive, had nothing but trouble when ive had 2 hard drives in. first it started trying to boot from the wrong drive so i had to take it out so it would boot of the one with the os on, then recently the 2nd drive has just completely fucked up.

But you wouldnt have this trouble with a Raid0, because your disks will be combined, no choice of disks to boot from.

Ive yet to have an SSD fail on me...

People will buy secondhand SSDs just like they buy secondhand hard drives.

Use a disk wiping program to write zeros to each sector if you're worried about people being able to undelete your stuff.
