Had a short burst of snow here today, going to be a nightmare here in the winter, 1/4 mile long lane up to my house that is uphill, plus the main road to the lane doesn't get gritted as its not busy enough.

Snowing in the hills over here, about 2 degrees C tonight. Had a mate's hillclimb Opel Ascona out earlier on in prep for tomorrow, no heat = no grip in tyres = lots of sideways!

least you'll be in good shape over the xmas period

scoffing all that food then going out to shovel snow off the road all night

a firefighter used to live opposite me (massive black guy, lovely bloke) who used to shovel the whole road for everyone. even done my drive for me when i didn't have anything to clear the snow. he done that 2 winters in a row.

no such luck now as he's moved

There was a wee bit in Stonehaven last night. Enough for all the roads to be white and driftable.
It's pretty much all melting away now. Just the grass which is left white. Forecast for rain tonight too, so i'm sure it'll all be gone by tomorrow.
