Road trip to Scotland with £4.5k in your back burner might bag you this.....

6k seems steep for that BM although it has got low miles. I just sold my 330d same as that but with every single optional extra for 3k on a 52 plate.

38mpg is what mine was on constantly too, fuel did seem to last forever though even when blasting about

the diesel variant of the 330 certainly holds its value compared to petrols!
You need to do the purchase costs vs money saved in fuel over the ownership duration of the car though.
Always keeping an eye on prices as selling mine after xmas and sometimes you need to add 1.5-2k for the equivalent diesel variant.

Remember that diesel costs just as much if not more than petrol now so the savings might not be as great as you first thought.

Ibiza's aren't as nice to live with as the Fabia, not as well put together, suspension is too hard.

Really John? can't be arsed with hard suspension nowadays!
There's a new BMW Indy garge opened near me which is getting rave reviews on cutters so I might have a chat with him about the 330d and how much he charges for inspections and a good check over of one for me.

That 2.0D in Scotland looks unreal for 4.5k.
