As much crap and banter people give you i like what you've done. I've been following the bits you have been doing and although nothing has changed too much, you have obviously learnt how to do things and the end result is a very well maintained car that you obviously love. Much better than going out and buying a new car imo.

Used to love corrados

Thanks mate, i still love them.

Not sure what else i'd have, sometimes i wish i'd started with an Audi S2, but am sure that would of been a whole lot more expensive.

Corrado is affordable, quite simple, not too old and basic, decent mpg, good performance and a nice car to be in or look at.

You've summed the corrado up there. Back in the day they were very good to look at, im surprised they didnt become more of a classic than they have tbh. I always wanted a purple one, was it a storm edition? Been absolutely years since i last looked at them. I doubt many other interiors will be as nice as one aswell!

I knew i worded that wrong when i posted it I meant that Jim gives shit to everyone and he gets a lot back. Was saying that looking past the banter of most of his threads or comments that the actual work on the car has been done well

Storm was either green like mine or blue. There is a nice purple called, blackberry i think it was called. I find it too hard to pick a favourite colour on them.

They are very cheap to buy now, but finding a decent is a tough game, i think most have been neglected or sold on when a problem occurs, i do keep an eye on the market and notice they are quickly vanishing.

A few guys on corrado forum are just buying them to break now.

Was also rusty arches and a hole there before, i've sprayed it all with rattle cans

Forgotten what its like to wash a car, never really wash the escort and if i do, its in a carwash
