Judging by a thread today about scrapping a corsa, it probably is a bit rarer than it was last week so technically true. Also worth a bit more due to being rarer.

There was one for sale over here last week for about £1600 iirc. He was convinced that it was a genuine GSi in uber rare Arden blue

It doesn't say its a gsi. Its just a sport with a kit. Don't really see the problem.
