I have done a few times.
Have one on the van that I put on back in the spring - paid off for itself within a week as I had somebody scan it from their apartment window on their iPad whilst I was working across the road from them in Wimbledon.
They then emailed me and booked me for a job
Seen a couple of people scan it when stuck in traffic behind me on the motorway etc too.

Until the camera app on my phone has a built in QR code reader I'm not bothered by them. Not interested in having to have a specific app for them.

Have them on my ads in the window, will also be putting them on the branded up car. They're pretty useful, easy to scan a code than sit and type in a web address/use the search function.

Used it once on a bottle of cider in a pub. It's quirky but if I were to ever use it properly it would be a complete waste of time - I'd be quicker opening a browser and googling.

If they made them so it's augmented reality, and you hover the reader over it and something 3d or explanitory happens then it might be worthwhile.
But as a few people have said, they're pretty pointless really, especially if you're somewhere with shit G coverage anyway

Heard it being used on project threads before, which is pretty cool.
I have no interest in them

If it points to the project URL it'll have the thread id of that thread, if someone deletes that and makes a new one, the QR would point to something old or trashed.
Plus they might want it to go to the garage etc. bit of choice. Did give it some thought and came up with ideas about how to make it user configurable, bit it never got any further than that due to the difficulty and expense in making the actual stickers.

I meant in vinyl on the cutter, easy to make, pain in the ass to weed and wouldn't work if you picked out the wrong bits but you wouldn't know until you stuck it on to a contrasting surface.
