My friend has a working phone with a cracked screen front and back ...and a faulty phone with good screens
How much do you reckon they would get charged to do this?

It's not too bad a job, just loads of screws.

Yip done a couple. As long as you've got the patience and small screwdriver you can do it.
No bits to peel off or heat with a hairdryer or anything that can easily go wrong.
Just follow the guide on ifixit.

Ill do it for £25 inc return postage, an internal clean and a full check.
Both phones must be same model by the way. Not 4 and 4s

Can bend some of the tabs off to fit the other, never goes on perfect though.

I also find it easier heating the old screen when removing as it heats the glue/tape up

What glue? Full unit comes off when you unscrew it.

There is glue/adhesive at the top of the screen(either side of the speaker) and at the bottom(either side of the home button).
