check that the timing chain doesnt rattle on start up an when the engine is hot, check the climate control work in every direction, ie windscreen feet etc, pull steering wheel towards you and see if it moves in or out,

and apart from obvious, tyres brakes etc

Gear linkages, noisy timing chain, wet footwells (both sides) drop links fail MOT all time but are cheap easy fix. Make sure it's still got leather and its heated.

All of the above and check for "mayo" on the underside of the oil cap and rocker cover . Mine was horrendous when I went and looked at it but they cleaned it all out for me and has been fine since !

Wet footwells are the main issue as said before though !

C's are common for this because of the plastics rocker cover.

Make sure it's still got the leather, 9-spoke alloys and full irmy kit as some people strip them off and sell them separately

Had a few here, never had any of the well known faults: gear linkage, leaks into footwell and steering rack.

My issues have all been wear and tear: tyres, brakes, alternators, batteries.
