The karcher is a good model and one I've used a lot in the past. I've just got a new 3.500 from Amazons Black Friday for £130 inc free delivery which is amazing. Water cooled motor etc.
Can't comment on the Nilfisk but I don't know if there more is water cooled?

Nilfisk has a smaller motor by the looks of it...
If I didn't buy mine for such a good price I've been keeping an eye in this site....

Comes highly recommended and with buying the extra warranty it's pretty fool proof.

Arrrr right yeah they either come in a non karcher box or a beat up one mate.
I'd say that Tesco price is good as I've never seen a 3.575 for less than £200.

Had a karcher for 10yrs. Used most weekends. Never broke apart from the hose leaked once. Gotta buy a new one as my brother is taking it soon.

So buy something that's bound to break just because it's karcher & got a warranty

Probably can't go wrong with Nilfisk. We have a few big massive floor cleaners at work that the cleaners use and they never go wrong.

Just use a normal hose and run at the car with it.

I have that same Nilfisk and think it's spot on Instead of changing the whole lance like on the Karcher, there are different ends that clip on which are quite handy. Can't fault it really, and the flow rate quoted is higher than the Karcher.
Apparently the patio cleaning thing isn't very good (dad tried it a while back) - but by the sounds of it this is inherent in the design, so I imagine that Karcher one would be the same. You're better off just using the nozzle that spins round instead.
