I've just had a email from 02 saying due to inflation they are putting the price of my contract up by £1.47 per month.
Are they allowed to just change the contract? Considering I have not even agreed to this?
I'm not to fussed tbh as it's only a couple of quid, but still no the point.

Yes, price increases they can do as it'll be in their T&Cs. 3 increased mine from £35 to £36.25 last year I think.

Pay as you go is deffo the way to go now. The length of contracts is ridiculous and are getting far to expensive.

18 month contracts take the piss.
2 year contracts are rediculous.

All providers have increased prices, O2 are the last to do it.
And they are contractually allowed to increase prices no more than once every 12 months and no more than the rate of inflation.

Gutted,
Have you only just worked out that this is what Apple does
I mean come on, iPhone 4.... 4S.... Wonder why they released a 4S model, won't be anything to do with taking the piss out of Apple customers who will buy it despite barely updating from the 4
