Depends if said mentally ill person was capable or not tbh.
No way would have stricter gun laws stopped the cinema one. Guy was booby trapping his apparent not with home made bombs.
They will just find something else to maim, however I do think they need to at least make it a challenge FFS

Not trolling, funny jokes are funny (not debating whether the particular joke here is or not), can't go through life getting upset about everything, sometimes it'll be a topic that's a bit close to the bone for you, next time it'll offend someone else.

Already a lot of bollocks being spouted about gun law from both sides of the fence.
My favourite is the ban on assault rifles. Citing the fact he used one to enter the school (read shot a glass door). This would re-enact the previous ban from 1994-2004. Reminder that the columbine shootings where in 1999. Plus unsure how a pistol would not be able to break glass.
Not quite sure how they can change of for the better. I myself would be looking at mental health in the US for starters.
