I'm replacing a radiator and don't really want to pull the floor up, i can't get the same size radiator so i've bought a slightly smaller one and got some adjustable radiator tails. the problem is i cant figure out which whey they go on so that it attaches to the radiator valves and tighten up?
if i put the left side of it into the radiator, theres nothing for the valve to screw onto or olive is too big and if i do it the other way it doesn't seem to tighten on properly?

think i figured it out, took the fitting and olive off, put it on the other side then tightened that into the radiator valve and does seem to be holding
