Not disputing it just can't see many alternatives, definitely not at right back anyway. You could argue Cole or Lahm for left back.

Also, RVP has done ot at the top level whereas Falcao was playign against Portugese and Spanish tat

That's hard to equate as they do it by seasons, he has 26 goals in 25 appearances this season. RVP has the same in 31 appearances.

They will be extremely similar, except Falcao scored 12 on the way to a European trophy including 2 in the final

I think spanish players are starting to lose there edge now, especially some of the ones replacing the established players
