hi guys help needed please

my drivers side sterring rack arm is bent through skiding into a curb my mates going fix it he knows alot about cars but has asked me to ask on here if just the arm can be replaced? and also could it be straightened back through heating up so its straight again any advice is appreciated thanks.

I would just replace the whole rack tbh if it was mine if you've bent the arm tgeres probably gonna be play in the rack

But if you don't wanna buy new and just wanna replace the arm I THINK you can replace them but not 100% I deffo wouldn't try and straighten it as you will never get it back straight and will probs have tracking issue's
