Wheels spoil the car imo. Get them painted standard silver imo. Much cleaner.

Black just screams 'ive painted my wheels cos i cant afford to do anything else to my shitty 1990's Fiesta popular'

i know, but at least theres less chance of them getting fucked.

i got the wheels on my focus refurbished in october (paint) and they were fucked by the next summer. lots of small chips.

whether that'll be different if i go for a powdercoat job or not, i don't know.

I like your car, it looks nice.

But going by your project thread, it sounds a bit of a shed. Every update seems to be your dad fixing something thats broken.

Surely it's crossed your mind to get rid of it.

all that's gone wrong are things i've fucked up and a coolant issue.

hardly a shed

Scrap it, not fit for purpose. Ten years old is far too old for a car.
