Talk to me about motorbike trailers.

If you have one what do you like or dislike.

Can you carry two bikes legally at 750kg?

My single bike trailer is an 'A' frame with a tipping centre channel section allowing the bit that the wheels sit in to rotate so you can push the bike onto it withou havin to use a separate ramp or lift the bike up. Works quite well but is only a single bike trailer

I have a 3 bike Klipinoff as below with out the back board and with just a single ramp that I move to each.

I only use it for enduro bikes which I could fit 3 but could take 2 road bikes.

The reason I got a 3 bike is because it can carry 1 in the middle nicely, 2 bikes on the outer and obviously 3.

The weight of 3 bikes will rarely exceed 750kgs.

Mine;

Depends really. I would love a box trailor but the cost is high plus not great on fuel for towing and limited to bar width and how many to fit in.

Use an un-covered trailer to transport our track bikes all the time, single and a double trailer.

Wish list:
This in the front to hold the wheel.

Long ramps that can be stored to push the bikes up.

Strap hooks in the middle and rear for strapping it down.

Places to hold spare wheels so you don't have to chuck them in the back of the car (most track bikers will have wets on wheels too).

Most modern road tracks bikes generally weigh in about 170-200kg.

Oh, good bearings too.

tbh, there are some good trailers about, ones you can fold right up to fit in a cupboard, but they cost. Lot of work to make a good one.

Trailer chassis needs to be part of that total.

Cheers all
