Days of Future Past was probably the best mini story arc from the original animated series

Can't decide how I feel about this.

First class was good, but this one has the stench of being an all star ensemble with not much else going for it.

The fact that Vaugn jumped ship is a bad omen.

Thought Vaughn was still producing this one?

Although it all sounds like a milking exercise rather than a decent sequel.

First trailer is out.

Something about that looks pretty lame to me.
Still think they have too many "big" characters to make this work. Hope to be proven wrong.

Is that an original piece of music as it was used in Sunshine?

Sure you're not thinking of Clint Mansell's Lux Aeterna, composed for Requiem For A Dream, which was nabbed by Zimmer and used in LOTR (as well as a load of other films)?

What was used in this trailer is a version of the main theme from Sunshine composed by John Murphy. Similar to Clint Mansell's Lux Aeterna, it has also been re-arranged for various other films such as Kick Ass.

Edit - There was a great series by Neil Brand on BBC Four called the 'Sound of Cinema' which is well worth watching if you give a monkeys about film music.

I know the piece but ok, you're talking about the piece used towards the end of the trailer not the start which is John Murphy.
