Hey guys,

Looking into a pair of front tyres for the DC5, and was looking at Rainsport 2's. I know the old Rainsports were raved over on corsas, but what are these like on bigger cars, and what are they like to drive quick on?

Any opinions appreciated., hoping i can get a decent idea across a wider spectrum from people on here.

I like them, running them on my Cupra. Great in the wet. Not got the pure dry grip of a few of the other top brands but they are quiet, failry predicatable and well priced.

The 2 cars I had them in they were very very good for a cheap tyre.

Probably the best all round tyre I've had, well priced, good grip level, lasted ages too.

Fair do's, cheers guys. Its between them and T1R's tbh, with about £30 in it. I've had T1R's before and liked them, but they are a soft compund.

Got them all round on the Ibiza! Found them much better in the wet than t1r's, dry performance is pretty damn good as well

As Britain spends most of its year now being pretty cack weather-wise...makes sense to buy tyres that are better in those condition, and thats why i wasnt sure on the T1R's, because i know they are a bit iffy in the wet.

The way Britain spends most of its year hasn't changed recently.

I had them on my fiesta and they were great but I can't imagine them holding the e92 like the ps3s do. Now they are amazing in the wet and dry.
