Has anyone on here refurbed there own wheels or do you just pay someone??? Just one of my twist reps is badly curbed all the way round the rim(done before i got them). The other 3wheels i could do myself by simply rubbing them down and painting them but this one wheel im not sure how to tackle it. Any advice from anyone on here

I do all my own wheels,I did set of Clio cup wheels for a friend that were like yours. I sanded it right down, sanded most of the marks out then used that liquid metal to fill the rest I only did it on small marks though. Did that two years ago and still fine!

providing they aren't too deep you should get away with just sanding those marks out fella. If any are really deep just use a little bit of filler.
If you want it looking at u2u me and i can have a look at it for you.

I would use some p38 filler but as said if you use some decent wet and dry around 120/20 grit should take them out quite easily if they are not too deep and thn step down the grades.

A good even sanding and some high build primer would work fine on those.

I think sanding those marks right down would leave flat spots on the rim.

Are you the paul that used to be on mk3oc??? If so its Ben who had the white mk3 astra sport. I can pop the wheel over to you one day and see what you think but it is fairly bad tbh. I can get a better photo for you tommorow in the day as that photo was taking in the dark.lol

The wheel has some big marks in it that wont be able to be sanded down. I personally think it needs grinding and filling to keep the shape. I will get a decent pic tommorow and update this thread with it. All other 3 wheels are fine, all they need is rubbing down and painting. Even if i just pay someone to get this wheel back in shape and i can rub them all down and paint them myself to save a few quid.lol

But £35 offer above is good value as those are quite badly scuffed.

I don't think that wheel has been curbed, more like the curb has been wheeled
