Unfortunately, I think it is him.
The reason I say this is he was given a position at Newcastle United, something to do with youth coaching etc. If that isn't enough to get his career/life on track I don't know what is. He comes across as one of those people that have become institutionalised by their own sport and can not let it go as they know nothing else.
Of course all the above is my interpretation and I could be completely wrong!

Agree with that, he's got tons of people who want to help him, he either doesn't want it, or can't accept it.

Bit of a George Best situation going here by the sound of it. Gazza probably can't be helped unless he's literally locked up and forcefully kept away from booze etc, but what sort of a life would that be?

His best mates were there through the good times and now there's none of them they have all dissapeared.
Five bellies, Chris Evans, Danny Baker and the rest of them. They can all hang their heads when he eventually kills himself, which he will do.

They should have him on MotD (not at the moment obviously) but to have someone passionate about football talking about the weekends games and the humour he could bring would work really well.

He's been given so many chances but he goes back to his old ways. Manager, and pundit. No one could understand him as a pundit, he made no sense at all.

No one willing?
He's got more help than most poor sods in his position.

Chris Evans and Ronnie Irani were the ones who put him on the plane.

Fuck sake, Gazza Doesn't matter what they try with him, he always ends up back on the booze. Some people just can't be saved.
