Anyone got experience of what happens to your no claims bonus when you then go into a company car?
Got 14 years protected and will prob be going to get a company car in the next few weeks. Dont want to lose them all so unsure how they get saved if at all

Surely, as long as you have proof, you keep your own NCB until needed agian?

Normally only lasts a couple of years.

not sure, all im finding is answers the other way round for building up proof of no claims in a company car and transferring that to a personal car

Most insurers accept them for up to 2 years after they stopped accumulating I believe...

Get a private weekend car if you can afford it, or buy a shitter for a couple of hundred and insure that to keep them going.

Lasts a couple of years. I had a company car and my own cars for years. I now have two sets of NCB.

One of my coworkers has a company car but insures his mum's car under his name but with her as an additional driver to keep the NCB

Dad and mum swap who insures mums car each year to keep both their ncb
