A lot of Mk2's over here are over 300bhp, FIA want us to calm the cars down. I know a lad who had a Mk2 capable of over 150mph, and that was told to me on the QT. There's loads of other lads who have that kinda car but don't say.

My 300hp (ish as it was never dyno'd) was fine day to day other then faults that where generally done on its initial build before I bought it, ie shit home made loom, routing of boost pipes too close to down pipe. Only real major issue I had was clutch failure and my Nortech manifold snapping.

300bhp on standard internals is on its limit if you ask me! In my let i had front mount (obv) tdo5 evo 4 turbo, tubular manifold, uprated fuel pump, boost valve saab red injector', xe inlet cam, solid boost pipes, enlarged top-hat and evo5 chip's. My car run 297 at the fly and I didnt drive my corsa as a everyday car as it was a bit daft. Do your research
