Got my megane 225 for sale at the moment and have already got another car which I'm picking up when my current insurance expires in early march.

The megane doesn't seem to be selling ' overpriced or a sign of the times maybe'
I may keep it and turn it into a proper track car but since we're expecting our 2nd child in a few weeks and maternity pay is so little it won't be until next year that I will have funds to spend as I please kinda thing!

Which brings me to the question.... Do I sorn the megane and have it off the road no insurance.. Am I right in thinking this is correct?
Or do I insure it on a 0 miles policy??? If that's even possible.

It will prob get little or no use over the next year.....

Unless anyone wants a well specc'd megane for a very good price??? Lol

Wish mine had Recaro's.

Mines an 05 was going to stick it up for £3k at the end of the month, might rethink the price now.

Probably put it just under the 3k.

Quick sale, got it for buttons in the 1st place.

My brother had his orange full fat 56 plate up for 4300 for a few months but he ended up selling to webuyanycar for 3500. There was little to no interest in it.

But if it was stolen and burnt out, you wouldn't have cover?

The LSD is the one thing almost every review of it says it needs. Was put off by the price plummeting anyway which looks to probably have been a good shout.

I had the LSD working on an r26 around cadwell and haven't driven a regular one but would say it would probably be a different car without it. On topic I would say its over priced I'm afraid, not a reflection on the car itself but the whole market from fuel to insurance. Question is can you afford to keep it or not.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2006-RENAULT-MEGANE-SPORT-225-ORANGE-CUP-r26-recaros-xenons-part-ex-swap-/130855534181?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item1e7798fe65

price now lowered, i can afford to keep the car. but id want to spend money on it so i could track it properly but with the mrs on mat leave and me wanting an easy year with little or no overtime to take it easy id rather sell up
