Going to London on friday with the missus to see Bloc Party in the evening,

Planning on making a day of it with a bit of morning sightseeing and a nice meal at 2/3pm-ish.

No more than £40 each really, not fussy on cuisine!

Any suggestions?

£40 each is quite alot! I like Kitchen N1 at Kings Cross. All you can eat buffet with a range of different things so will keep both happy. Cheap n cheerful and will definately fill you up!

Will be driving in and parking at the bottom of the A12 (Newbury Park), concert at Earls Court, getting a tube day travelcard so anywhere within reach of a tube stop!

Keep them coming,

Will show the missus this tomorrow night and let her choose

Mestizo in Euston is pretty decent; good place for cocktails as well. Have a look on http://www.greatlittleplace.com though.

Burger and Lobster is meant to be good, if you like burgers or lobster

Another option, not sure if you wanted to go posh or not, but I can't recommend here enough http://www.honestburgers.co.uk/ So fucking nice! Ignore the tiny shop front and how small it is inside, its genuinely amazing!

Ended up in Bodeans BBQ at Soho after a trip to M&M World!

Food was lovely and only spent £40 for both of us (2 courses and 2 drinks).

Bloc Party were amazing too! If you like them, try and see them somewhere! Amazing light show and music

Agree Robbo, music & show makes up for weaker vocals but well worth it still, could see the crowd were a bit silly towards the front so we stood to the right of the camera area in the middle!

Bodeans reminds me of a Man v Food episode! Brisket Beef, Ribs, Pulled Pork etc, not many places you can get that in England, especially that nice!
