Daily Mail so take it with a pinch of salt, but it's the 15th oldest (surviving) Mini in the world and is set to fetch £10k at auction:

One carefull lady vicar owner, Nice little runner,

Makes me wander what someone will want with that, Looks like the chassis is going to be rottern, so will probably never see the road again!

I think it would be worth more if it was a mint original.

It really would though. Minis fetch big money, mk1 minis fetch bigger money. The 15th oldest surviving mk1 mini will be worth stupid money

How can it be worth so much when 90% of it is going to be replaced?!

No matter the age once fixed up with parts off other, newer Minis and possibly brand new parts it is not going to be that unique?!

Doesn't matter. Can just be a basic frame work from original car.

It's nothing special though. If you saw it on road you wouldn't know it's the 15th oldest mini. If it was 1st mini ever produced and was a mini fully original with a certificate then maybe . They are shit cars as well , infact I am struggling to think of anything remotely positive about the thing

The reg kinda gives it away though....

But yeah, thats a heap and if it were mine it would already be a cube and I'd be £90 richer.

This is my problem with restored cars. Nice car at the end but its not technically the same car anymore!

That would be funny.

Could raise more than 10k I am tickets to watch the unveiling to the mini owners club. It'd be like Steve race car thread on steroids!
