Hello , ive recently had a clear out on ebay and sold some old games etc. One buyer has said that there game doesn't work , box was damaged no manual etc, which i thought was suspicious as when i last played it all was fine.
They have returned the item and its in awful condition , it defiantly isn't the game that i sent them. The buyer seems to be acting strange when i email them, and has already left negative feedback on my account trying to push for a refund.
I've reported the buyer to ebay and told them what's happened , but it will be hard to prove?
has anyone else has similar problems with buyers? and what was the outcome?

You'll get shafted, right or wrong, you'll lose out and the buyer knows this.

Yeh , but only one photo of the case. most the damage is to the disk and the back of the case , although some of the damage should of showed up in the picture i put up. I've found the original photo and checked and cant see any of the damage. The damage doesnt even look like it could be caused in the post either

Guess that could be your only defence if you've got a pic of it before you sent and its present condition. I dunno. As said buyer will probably win as eBay is ridiculous.

As above! Very same reason I don't deal with egay now because they always side with the buyer!

Make a video of every thing you send before you post it, and include the days newspaper in it.
Can think thats the only way to stop people doing things like this.

i suppose i will be more careful in the future , its only a five pound game so im not to fussed , but the negative feedback is annoying, and you can no longer leave negative feedback for a buyer

eBay won't help as without further photographic proof, it's your word against his. Still worth putting a claim in though - you never know!

Did the buyer send it back recorded? If not then you could still be waiting for it to arrive if you get me

Nope wont work, Guy I know sold some chip shop fryers on egay for the sum of £1500 buyer paid via paypal the full sum of £1500
Few days later there was a claim put in stating the pans never worked and was in poor condition.
The guy had sent loads of videos, images of pretty much everything and lost the case and is now down £1500 and no pans.

eBay is full of holes where the buyer can get a free item.
I would appear this is what has happened here.
I only use eBay to buy things because of this now. Have been stung far too many times!

I recently got shafted after sending an item. Buyer filed a dispute and got the money straight away.
Think I might send my sons shitty nappy to him tomorrow
