One my mates bought the material and glue but isnt doing it now so gimme the stuff has anyone done there dash before any guide or pointers

Isn't flocking normally done electrostatically?

Didn't think it was something you could DIY.

From what ive seen at Alan's I would not attempt it in anything other than a garage. Its gets everywhere

From what I can gather with the DIY kits is you spray on glue then literally blow over dust all around the dash, literally comes like a bag of candy floss which you hand pump all over!

I gave tried the DIY flocking powder with said puffer and it does go everywhere lol most of it fell off after a month!

I think Aaron gas got the fuzzy cloth stuff, so yeah matey spray your glue everywhere and get sticking, sharp knife to cut you holes out and maybe a little blow heater in these temps to get it to set ;-)

i used [url=http://www.banburyflockingservices.com/flocking-gallery[url] for my MX5 instructment cowel and it was only £15 with P&P excellent service, i dont understand why you'd riska DIY job at that price!

I'm one of those types of chaps that will have a go at anything lol sometimes you win sometimes you loose, but at least I know I've tried it
