Bought this second hand tyre off ebay November last year and all looked fine when it came so just put it at the back of the garage until my spare wheel was ready to be taken for powdercoating so today i removed the brown tape which had my address and lable on spotted this damage which looks like its been caused by a tyre machine.
Will this be ok to use on my spare wheel or will it leak air?

If its for a spare it will be ok as long as it doesnt bubble when you first inflate if.

Best to go to a few tyre places and ask.

Think of it this way - would you let one of your loved ones drive your car knowing that tyre was on there?

i personally would use that myself, its far away from where the lip of the rim sits, most would say that they wouldnt use it but for a spare id use it,
