Any hints on what this could be...
1.2 SXi, top the water up and all seems fine but the next day the system is empty again, doesn't appear to have any leaks and no signs of head gasket issues.
If the heater matrix has gone will it leak inside the car?

If the heater matrix is leaking you will find the carpets will be wet in the footwells. Have you got a leak in the rad anywhere? May have had a stone go through it or something. Mines leaking slightly so have to top my coolant up regulary. Getting it changed next week to save me from having to keep puting antifreezein.lol

maybe is leaking only when u r driving so u cant notice it , probably is hose or something, theyre is no way the coolant liquid just to dissapear

Check if it still has the plastic stud attached to the top of the waterpump

Thanks for the tips, fitted a new rad on saturday as it had a leak but all seems leak free now.
Not my car so a little hard to keep track of when and where the coolant is needing a top up.
