Bought a portable generator and states in the manual that its needs to be earthed but can't find any info on what is should be earthed to.
Anyone have any info on this?

If its going to be fixed into place and not be moved, maybe drill a hole through floor and knock a 2-3 meter spike in? But if you planning on putting it in verious places that's useless? Lol

Its a council garage so no water pipes.
Could i fasten a long piece of copper pipe to the garage wall and attach a earth strap from the generator to the pipe?

Would I be right in presuming that you don't have electricity in said garage?

It is louder than others I've heard running but I've never had any complaints about it. What are you looking to run off it mate?
