I want to get an ipod dock for my bay at work but if i put my iphone 5 in can i listen to the radio thru it and digital stations like 5 live for the f1? Or is it all depending on what dock

should be able to stream anything through any dock, if its playing through the phone speakers it'll play through the dock when you plug it in.

What i ment tho was dont you have to plug ya headphones in to get a signal?

You're thinking about an FM radio, which the iPhone doesn't have.
Music is either stored on the phone or streamed over WiFi/cellular.

And you need to test the app + dock combo to be sure. Our car radio will play from the phone, but only storred music, no third party apps.
