Very decent price, though I'm surprised to see an aggressive price cut within the first six months. After all, the console hasn't sold that poorly.
More interestingly, they're releasing a huge patch that includes a fix for the 50Hz issue. Curious to see how well it works.

Wonder if they'll add FullHD support in the next patch...

It switches to 50Hz when the input source/TV is fullscreened, otherwise it continues to use 60Hz even during 'snap-in' - i suspect it was the only solution open to them but even then, there aren't many 'proper' ways of doing it apart from developing/offering PAL and NTSC variants of consoles and games.

Twitch streaming is a bit off a let down too say that they delayed it too make it more stable and better, can't even begin too imagine how bad it was before they delayed it

Hardly a shock really.
They are also considering not needing Gold for Netflix and a few other services

Surprised at that.
Obviously a price point similar to the PS4 is great, but without the Kinect the Xbone doesn't have anything to offer.
Seems like Microsoft don't know if they should head right or left.
Changes to Live definitely sound good, though. At the price, both Live and PS+ needs to offer more than they currently do.

About time Microsoft unlocked Netflix and the other streaming apps without Gold, should have been 'free' to start with.
Glad they're releasing a version without Kinect too as would never have used it anyway and means less time until it's a reasonable price.

I have to say I'm not a fan of the kinect-less option. Everyone things they'll "never use it" and I was one of those. Granted I don't have any "Xbox Olympics" type games that have me bounding around the front room, but the subtle benefits of having Kinect are excellent, particularly outside of games.
By making the Kinect optional again, it'll just discourage "real" effort into developing for it IMO - which is a bad thing.
