Just spotted this:
http://www.johnlewis.com/bosch-tas2002gb-tassimo-coffee-machine-black/p231270106?s_afcid=af_47868#tabinfo-ratings
Out of stock right now, but seems like a good deal.
I'm not a huge coffee drinker but I do have the occasional coffee, but I also like a nice hot chocolate which I don't think the Nespresso machines can do?
Anyone got a Tassimo machine?

Just to warn you, the Coffee "Experts" will be along soon trying to get you to buy a grinder, beans grown on virgin's thighs, and traditional espresso machine.
Guessing tho, like me you want decent quality with ease of use, no major cleaning, and messing about etc?
Firstly, imo the Tassimo coffee is shite!! The only capsule nmachine to even consider is the Nespresso machines. You can get the milk "Aerrocino" too. You can then easily froth/heat milk to make a great hot chocolate.

My brother recently bought one of these, he loves it. We have the dolce gusto, but you must used nescafes own satchels, and its okay, but i believe with the tassimo you can use a few different types, 1 being costas ones,

Might be okay then if you can use other brands now. When I sampled it, it was Tassimo's own coffee capsules and it wasn't good!

Don't get me wrong, I too am a coffee geek, and grinding fresh beans and using a traditional espresso machine is the best option, but for ease of use before going to work etc imo Nespresso machines offer the best quality/ease of use combo.

Was happy with my purchase, based on CS coffee knowledge. There's probably a newer model now.

I am in the same boat really. Need something fairly quick and convenient that has a wide range of products and provides good quality coffee.
Guessing a nesspresso is the way forward?

I have a tassimo, the costa caramel latte macchiato is nice, not been amazed by any of the others though, the cadburys hot chocolate is shit, have a dolce gusto in the attic, was okay but it seemed pretty limited.

Cheers. Which model? Budget of 150/170 maybe. Don't generally drink espresso if that matters?

I'd say go for a Pixie, and buy a separate aerrocino if you need to warm/froth milk.
They all do espressos and longer coffees (lungo's)
