I genuinely only keep an eye on my MPG to ensure the car is running ok.

My car does 20 in town and 30 on the motorway. I managed to figure that out without a website

When you and the missus do over 30k a year and pay out your own pocket then mpg is essential really, maybe not to the 18 year old boy racers who stick a fiver in a week so they can hang out in mcdonalds car park
I work damn hard for my money and like fuck im wasting any more on fuel then i need to. Would rather put it towards a holiday. At the end of the day im not toing to get through traffic quicker either so something fairly economical is the sensible option
For my weekend cars though, when i can blast about a roads, mpg not an issue...

Same here, sometimes I can get close to 300 miles if I'm trying (practice for Le Mans). Bit of a shock to start with as you're paying diesel fuel prices and getting half the economy, but I only own it for fun.
