Pretty much, yeah.

Swedish I could probably handle if it's not going too fast. Norwegian is a no go. It's probably comparable to a guy from London trying to understand Doric. Something might sound like a word here or there, but mostly it's just gibberish.

I can read it no problem, but in the age of Google translate that's hardly a feat.
