Priced one up for mine and its £550. Just taken out a mortgage so can't justify one now. I want my standard system to rust and fall off so I can buy one!

The Turbo back system I had retailed at around £1200, but my car was one of the 2 test cars for the new system that JP produced for the Astra VXR so i got it for £600.
It was a far better system than the Remus etc back then but don't think they sold many. Eberyone who saw the quality and heard it thought it was the mutts nuts, but you could get a Remus for about £900 fitted then so they were popular.

I got rid of my Zetec S because I kept worrying about injector failure and replacing DMF's! Lovely car

My tdci is going strong on 186k original diesel pump, injectors, clutch and flywheel no hassles here.
Clutch is only 300quid in parts now as well.

Oh and got 33.8 MPG today! Not bad when LPG is only costing me between 75 and 79p.
I was driving like a complete Grandad though lol

LPG filler position isn't too bad because you don't actually have to hold the pump trigger as you do with a petrol pump. Just hook it up and then press a button on the machine.
The fella I bought it off now has an LPG'd VXR8 which has the gas filler located in behind the petrol filler cap. Much neater.
Ah ha, nice one. Jammy git him for getting the VXR8.
Re the scrapper, yeah, was such a shame Rick. Such a clean, straight motor (the interior looked barely used), but the cost of fixing it was gonna be horrid. Even though the car looked like a new motor, it was the thick end of ten years old so wasn't worth a great deal more than the 2k+ repair cost. He could get another example with lower miles, even cleaner and even newer for not much more than fixing the black one.
I think Ford have really messed up with their modern cars. They are no longer cheaply and easily repairable. Not a good thing to do to your business model.

Had a look there, thats cool. Gives build date and registration date etc etc etc
Weighed it tonight for a laugh on the local truck weighbridge, came out at 1620kg. I thought it might have been heavier.
Chris I've been wondering what one of the buttones does. If you look at the circle knob for volume control, go left (which is the button for skipping CD tracks), then left again. I've been scared to push it lol
