Drop links, gear linkages, engines are pretty shit. Noisy timing chain, can be creamy under oil cap, could be head gasket or condensation as they have plastic rocker covers. Broken coil springs. Other than that decent little cars.

condensation in the oil so check for mayo in the oil which can lead to getting the headgasket done, also they can leak water into the footwell from the brake servo seal, otherwise there good

Power steering pumps. Will harder to turn one way than the other.

All of the above. I do also believe there was a recall on pre facelift for the steering rack.
