Parents are looking at buying this?
http://www.hawkescarcentre.co.uk/used-cars/vauxhall-vectra-1-9-cdti-16v-design-150-5dr-bury-st-edmunds-201317511642587
Anyone know much about them? they have to money to buy something 2k better but dont waste money.
Its for my mum to drive and this car tbh looks 'over' spec'd to much to go wrong.
I keep suggesting anything VW, Audi or BMW so basically German and they pic this reps hack
Thoughts?

I'd say it was heavily over priced. A friend got an 05 plate on 70k and a sxi model for 2.2k 6 months ago.
It's a good motor but needed a new egr valve and a thermostat but for a couple hundred it's running sweet as a nut.
Wouldn't bother going German, going to be a lot less car for the money.

I wouldn't go for the 150 if there going to be doing a y big mileage. Suffer from swirl flap problems quite often
As above. Egr will need replacing and there's 2 ecu updates from vaux avalible for them aswell.

Don't go for a 150 the gearbox will fall out and the engine will disintegrate.

As said that one is heavily over priced for a preface lift. I myself bought an facelift 06 plate with 130k for 2.5k, top spec.
Mine is the 150 model, still on original turbo, clutch.. been remapped to 185, pulls very well and no issues. With all cars there are issues of course but with FSH like mine theres not much wrong with it. Full heated leather, sat nav... boom

Vectra uses the F40, not the M32.
My old one is on about 80k and has now had the clutch and DMF replaced, DMF was well gone. Had an alternator just before I gave it to my dad and will need a wiper linkage soon.
Good cars imo, I'd be wanting a facelift SRi though.

£3.5k for that, not a chance, travel for a car then, can get a facelift for that money.
