Right the GSi has suffered with the deadly virus RUST!

Now I'm in the process of repairing the car, but not sure on what colour to paint the inner arches, the floor pan will be getting sprayed with stonechip and then glossed white to match the exterior.

Do I do them the same? Or black?

Just want to know people's preferences...

Is the car a daily driver? If so, black. If not, white.

Iirc shaunmods inner arches are white and they look lovely, although I imagine it takes a lot of maintenance to keep it that way. Some of that 'ultra ever dry' stuff I posted about in off day would be ideal.

Agree with Ben about it being a daily driver. Gloss black looks good for a daily drive.

The car is a daily, but doesn't get cover too many miles, regularly cleaned etc, another factor is the rears quite low and you don't see much of the inner arch.

I've painted the rear beams gloss with satin black drums, white would show this off, where as black wouldn't?

Thanks for the comments guys.

Ben do you have a link for that 'ultra ever dry' mate?

Black. I think white/colour coded inner arches look shite anyway even if it is kept spotless. Looks odd through the wheels IMO

White! Wont take too much cleaning as you'll be able to give a really good coat of wax if its gloss

Was it OJC who did his white and when he went to sell it was accused of doing it to hide rust ?

But yeah as Ben G said, if its a daily, then black.

But I'm not I've got pictures to prove its been repaired to a high standard, and I'm not planning on selling anytime soon.

Just wanted opinions on what colour, does anyone know what colour they came from the factory?

they come body colour from factory??
if you are talking about plastic arch liners then they are black.
if someone had painted the inner arch black then i would be thinking there is something to hide

That's cool, cheers Tom, my only concern was do I do them in black stone chip to match the the black plastic of the front arch liners.
If you say they come body colour as standard i think I'll stone chip them white for protection then glacier white.
Thanks
