Swift key drove me crazy. Use the standard keyboard on my nexus 4 now, just had to change the voice record to second page and you get your comma on the first page. Sorted.

Agree with this.
Standard keyboard is ok but i'd recommend you try *SwiftKey (Blackberry license it for their OS10 keyboard), it allows you to literally mash the keyboard and still produce the legible text you were after
TouchPal is also worth looking at, i'd say it's half way between the Android and Swiftkey keyboards - it's free, has a few decent features and it's lighter on resources than Swiftkey.
*As with most paid Android apps, they can be had from the internet shops.

Swiftkey made me a sloppy typist
Took me ages to get back in the habit of actually hitting the right keys.

Received in a nice wooden print box...
Played with it for about an hour sorting all my contacts and essential apps etc....
Then back to my iPhone as I need a decent case for it for work
The phone is quite simply amazing! The HD video is like holding my new LG LED TV in my hand

Is that down to the sheer size of it

7-8 GB of OS seems a bit excessive.
In comparison my 16 GB iPhone offers 13.5 GB actual storage space.
Come to think of it, I'm fairly certain a full OS X install is actually less than 8 GB so it makes no sense for the mobile OS to take up so much space.

6.5gb for the OS, nearly half the advertised storage, about time it got looked into, not that anything will come of it.

They will all soon have to have disclaimers stating that the amount of memory does not reflect the amount of usable memory or advertise "Usable memory"
Its the logical way to go as to the non-techi its essentially miss-selling.
No different to cars now which have the max speed listed as that of the limiter not of what its technically capable.

Tbh, that amount of used memory is shocking. You don't buy a 16gb phone and expect half of that

It is pretty bad, however 50GB of free dropbox and SD slot so not really worth moaning about

Took one look at the S4 in the shop today and knew I couldn't live with the cheap flimsiness. Ordered an HTC One instead

Sends S4 back because it feels cheap and plastic, orders HTC One, sticks an eBay 99p special plastic case on.

Purchased a Tech21 hardback cover today with a leather front and it's made it a lot nicer to hold
Also ordered a 32gig sd card so no more worrying about memory

Can't do with a cover on mine, screen is pretty hard wearing and if the back gets scratched I'll get a new one.
