They are off my VW van, not original but I need two new centre caps and don't know where to start looking.

There an audi wheel. Take a cap off and may have a part number behind.

I was told they were an Audi alloy actually, but I disregarded it

I was barking up the wrong tree looking for VW centre caps

They are s5 alloys, got an Audi stamp on them.
